Acontinum Plicatum

A poem:

Nature is destructive,
And just as lovely.
It’s just as helpful
As it is deadly.

There exist angels
Capable of healing.
Then there are devils
Capable of lifestealing.

Blue as the sky,
A rare beauty.
Yet cherished by few,
As exhibits lethality.

Behold, the Monkshood,
An extraordinary sight!
Eat any by chance,
You won’t live to see the light.

Its poisonous powers
Invite fear and hate.
There exists no cure
To reverse your fate.

‘Twas once used to
Poison arrows and knives.
As ended over the years
Countless innocent lives.

Considered by many
A weapon of hell.
All victims die
After a short spell.

Nature is beautiful,
An entity immortal.
‘Tcan be lovely,
And be mortal.
