A Morning in the forest

Hey all! I’m back with my next poem, titled “A Morning in the Forest”.Enjoy!

My fellow poet,
A very good morning!
Thoughts need channeling,
Verses need penning!

‘Tis a beautiful morning,
Don’t you agree?
A morning to admire,
Picturesque scenery.

Listen to birds singing
A euphony of melodies;
Conversing,unhindered,
By foreign cacophonies.

Trees sway their branches,
Lost in the web of tunes,
Soulful, don’t you think,
The music the winged croon?

Honeybees busily buzz,
Worms crawl ’bout fast,
Hungry creteurs soon claim
Their sumptuous breakfast!

Deer gaily skip around,
Searching for grass to munch,
Carnivores lurk in shadows,
To ambush their brunch!

Rabbits search for berries,
Draped in shining white cloaks,
Chasing safe haven
Whenever provoked.

Bears dutifully snore,
Much to the forest’s delight,
Elephants gleefully trumpet,
While snake and mongoose fight!

Well my fellow poet,
I’ve written in earnest,
My experiences of
A morning in the forest.
