Massive upheaval,
Unspeakable agonies,
Mysteries malevolent
Reminiscing evil
Within Dystopia,await.

Acrid atmosphere
Befouled by ardent anguish,
Paints powerful pictures of
Tenebrous, dismal times
The Dystopians undergo.

I cannot surmise
The hand catastrophes played
In Dystopia’s birthing
For unfortunately,
It’s the people who bear the blame.

If they’d just listened
To environmentalists,
If only,they’d considered
Combating climate change,
Poverty,disease,hunger,

If they’d just heeded
Precarious threats looming,
United in their actions,
I wouldn’t be decaying
Within Dystopia’s ramparts.
