My next poem, the first line of each stanza,and the title of which has been taken from one of my favourite songs, Sleep Like a Baby Tonight by U2.

Sleep like a baby tonight..
Your fantasies set alight
By the quiet that indites
An inky, surreal night*

Sleep like a baby tonight,
As fabulous fantasies
Carry you far,far away
From tormenting worries..

Sleep like a baby tonight,
Think not about the morning..
For when it dawns, it’ll be bright..
Vanquishing all gloom within..

Sleep like a baby tonight…
Everything’s gonna be fine..
For tomorrow’ll dawn anew,
As all your dreads shall decline…
