My next quadrille:
Spring culminated sullen,
Summer’s dawned scorching..
Autumn’s awaiting woodsy,
While winter’ll follow freezing..
I remember but yesteryear
I found spring sprightly,
Summer delightfully warm,
And winter pleasantly chilly..
I wonder if I’ll witness
The seasons once more,
Relieved of present harshness,
Their beauty restored.

Excellent quadrille Veera. I found you perspective on the word season to be most effective. They are a bit out of whack.
