My next set of haikus(or not)

Haikus work wonders
For poets frustrated by
The limits of rhyme.

Yet syllables pose
Greater trouble,if I may,
To amateur writers.

5-7-5…what?
The strangeness of syllables
Amazes me,no doubt!

At the very least,
I find it impossible
To restrain myself,

Weld verses within
These syllabilic rules
Constricting my lines.

Hence, I’ve resisted
The temptation to write
Poems restrained by rules.

Overwhelm me not
With comments,if you discover
I’ve broken the law!
