The Rainbow Crow

My next kyrielle:

In the town of Sleepy Hollow,
There resided a Rainbow Crow,
Whose melodies of beauty sheer
Quelled fury,sadness and fear.

In the town of Sleepy Hollow
There resided a Rainbow crow,
Whose magnificence, I recall
Was undoubtedly unequalled.

In the town of Sleepy Hollow,
Where prevailed not any sorrow,
It is said that people slept sound
When in the Crow’s music they drowned.

In the town of Sleepy Hollow,
Where prevailed not any sorrow,
Many observed the Rainbow Crow,
Each wishing it would be their own.

In the town of Sleepy Hollow,
The good citizens once awoke
To hear no more a singsong voice,
For it had forever demised.

In the town of Sleepy Hollow,
There resided a Rainbow crow,
That chose freedom over bondage,
That chose the skies over a cage.

This fictional story has been penned for the DVerse prompt, where poets were asked to write about a specific member of the family Corvidae, which includes birds like ravens, rooks, jackdaws, jays, choughs, magpies and the common crow. The poem was inspired by a story I had read a few years ago in Tinkle(a magazine), in which a rainbow-crow that possessed great beauty and could sing beautiful songs was granted the gift of freedom by god, for which it sacrificed its beauty and voice.
As for Sleepy Hollow, I was just watching the film!

Anyways, you can access the prompt at https://dversepoets.com/2022/05/24/poetics-corvid-poetry/

The Kyrielle:
1.Consists of atleast 3 quatrains in which a line should be repeating in all stanzas.
2.Rhyme scheme is up to the writer.
3.Each line should have 8 syllables.
