My next quadrille:
The sound of basketball
Crashing into the hoop,
When dunked with ferocity
Is like no other…
To celebrate, or not
Is secondary. To hear
That thunderous crash
Is every basketballer’s dream.
The sound of ball barging
Through hoop, is music
I’d hearken all day.

As a basketball fan, I love that sound also. Of all group sports, basketball is the one I truly enjoy watching.
