Narrow Minded

A poem:

I write once more
With the freedom I yearned
When bound by the shackles
Of narrow mindedness,

Insular no more,
I inculcate ideas new,
Improvising on the old,
Conjuring thoughts anew.

I write once more
With the creativity I craved
When imprisoned within mind
Of conservation grave.

My poetic spirit rejuvenated,
Welds verses with renewed passion
My muse, once dead, now revived,
Weaves from replenished imagination.

Staring at the fruits
Of endless,timeless toil
I’m filled with pride, relishing
The beauty of my moil.
