My next quadrille:
Exhausted, I embrace
The plump pillows of bed,
Body bawling for respite,
After the sweat it’s shed*.
Ears entreating for peace,
Mind scared by din
Of a bedeviling burden
That gets under my skin.
They torment me terribly,
Time bound, yet timeless
Online classes.

Oh, man. My daughter has a few of these right now, and they’re no picnic, for sure. Your angst is palpable here, well done.
