What we see, we view
Through the power of sight.
Our sight made possible
Through the power of light.

One that helps appreciate
Every masterpiece ever made,
Every part of the universe
That lives and fades.

Every wonder ever created,
Every work of artistry;
Every pearl, every gem
Of sheer mastery.

A miracle of God,
Of strange nature;
Strange indeed is
This enigmatic wonder.

Both particle and wave,
A mystery indeed!
One travelling at
An unachievable speed.

Yet it is curious,
The wave-particle duality;
Unnatural and virtual,
Yet the absolute reality.

Without it would exist
A realm of darkness.
Darkness throughout
A universe of nothingness.
