Skipping and Prancing

In Chennai, and frankly, nearly all of Tamil Nadu, there is heavy, incessant rain continuously pouring from the skies. Streets and roads have been waterlogged, schools and colleges have been closed temporarily, and people are in a state of panic.
And yet, amidst all of this,I can see a few people just enjoying the rain, not unmindful of the raging storms, but just inhaling that damp air as they play out in the grounds. Here is a small nonet based on that.

I see people skipping and prancing,
I see people playing football,
Amidst treacherous rainfall,
Bathing in cold water,
Having a great time!
Not frightened by
Thunder or
Lightning
Storms.

-The Forgers of Fantasy

A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc… until line nine finishes with one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional.
