Hey all! I’m back with my next set of haikus, titled “Monsoon Arriving”. It’s been a bit since I wrote freeverse, so I’m a bit rusty π
. Anyways, enjoy!
Monsoon arriving,
Bringing tragedy and joy,
Both sorrow and glee.
The patter of rain
Musical notes to some ears,
Sheer noise to others.
Water showering,
Divine amruth to some tongues,
Poison to others.
Icy winds blowing,
Lovely weather to some minds,
Perilous to others.
Monsoon raging on,
Heartfelt blessing to some souls,
A curse for others.
-The Forgers of Fantasy
P.S: I wrote this based on several debates I had read about whether the monsoon season this year had been a good or bad one for the people.

Quite an interesting read about the effects of whether on people, both physically and psychologically. I like it very much. Keep writing, keep spreading the love. πππ

Ahh, great composition! I love how you’ve put down very contrasting feelings within the same short and beautiful linesβοΈ
