From Spring to Winter

Hey all! I’m back with my next set of tankas. Enjoy!

Birds crooning carols,
Hypnotizing aromas
Announce spring’s advance.
Slender branches embrace all
Foraging food,with ripe fruits.

Cool,breezy climate
Turns tropical and torrid,
As summer arrives.
Temperatures escalate,
Mangoes rescue the thirsty.

Winds humid once more,
Fluffy clouds accelerate
As dawns the monsoon,

Torrential rains deliver
Relief from merciless heat.

Showers dissipate,
No more does windy weather
Maintain its presence,
For the advancing winter,
Glaciates gloomy climate.

From fragrant flowers,
To frigid,snow-covered lands,
The year elapses,
Dawning in delightful spring,
Dusking in blizzards of cold.
