Poetry- The Immortal Tree

Hey all!I’m back with a new form of poetry,I call it the quaranlet, named after my strange username. Enjoy!

Poetry,
A grand,ageing tree,
The growth of which eternal,
Branches spread wide from trunk immortal;
Flowers bloom bright, fruits turn ripe,
Magic of mankind,
Poetry.

Poetry,
A grand,ageing tree
Eyed by trivial mortals,
Boundless admiration eternal
For verses racing along,
Uninterrupted.

-The Forgers of Fantasy

The Quaranlet:
1.It is made of one heptastitch and one hexastitch.
2.The syllable count is 3-5-7-9-7-5-3 for the heptastitch, and 3-5-7-9-7-5 for the hexastitch.
3.The rhyme scheme is a-a-b-b-c-d-a-a-a-b-b-e-f.

This has been penned for #TankaTuesday, where poets were asked to create their own form of syllabilic poetry and pen a poem based on that. You can access the prompt at https://wordcraftpoetry.com/2022/03/08/tankatuesday-poetry-challenge-no-264-3-8-22-create-your-own-syllabic-form/ .
