Moving On

Finally…I’m back, with a quadrille. These boards sure have suffocated my writing skills, and I haven’t been getting a lot of ideas lately. That, along with the lack of time due to extra studies is the reason for my not posting often.

He stared in disbelief,
When mother,weeping tears
Informed him of the death
Of his father dear.

As he watched them bury
The one man he’d loved,
His sorrow,his grief
Aside, he shoved.

He’d fulfill, he promised,
Dad’s final wish
By moving on.

This has been penned for the #WDYS prompt(what do you see) hosted by Sadje. You can access the prompt at https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/2022/05/02/what-do-you-see-132-may-2nd-2022/

Well, I’ll not be posting a lot this month, as my board exams are raging on, and needless to say, I cannot afford to score bad in them…

Once boards end(on 24th May), I will go back to writing poems regularly, and hopefully, find the muse I’ve been struggling to find in the past 2 months.

Anyways, that’s all, I guess, so see ya!
